Welcome to our Club!

We invite you to learn more about the Calgary Ladies Curling Club and hope you’ll join our club. We are a semi-competitive ladies league that values good curling, great company, and lasting friendships.

Curling Schedule & Format

• Days: Monday afternoons (with occasional morning draws) and Wednesday afternoons
• Game Times: Monday – 10:30 AM & 1:00 PM (depending on teams), Wednesday – 1:00 PM
• Length of Games: 8 ends or buzzer, whichever comes first. Buzzer rings 100 minutes after start time. The buzzer rings at 12:10 for 10:30am games and the buzzer rings at 2:40 pm for 1:00 pm games.
• Regular Games: 18–21 games/season
• Format: Teams placed in “A” & “B” divisions, reseeded after each round
• Season: October – mid-March (dependent on number of teams)
• No Curling: Most long weekends, Christmas break, Interclub Bonspiel, and St. Nick’s Bonspiel

Awards

• Mondays: 1st–4th Place in both A & B divisions
• Wednesdays: 1st–4th Place in both A & B divisions

Fees for 2025–2026 Season

Full-Time Curlers

•    Monday (18 games): $878/team
•    Wednesday (21 games): $1,024/team
•    CLCC Membership: $20/year (per curler, paid once)
•    Curling Alberta/Canada Fee: $22/year (per player, paid once regardless of club/league)

Spares (Click for Registration Form)

•    $25/person for one or both days
•    CLCC Membership: $20/year
•    Curling Alberta/Canada Fee: $22/year
•    Note: Full-time curlers may spare on the opposite day at no additional cost

Social Members (Click for Registration Form): Retired Curlers – No charge

Important Dates

• Intent to Return: June 1 – 30, 2025 (minimum 2 returning players)
• Team Registration & Payment: August 1 – 31, 2025 (minimum 3 players)
• Spare Registration & Payment: Opens August 1, 2025 (ongoing)

Communication with Members

• Website: schedules, standings, events, bonspiels, news
• Locker Room: posted schedules and updates
• Newsletter: 3 issues per year
• E-mail: timely reminders and announcements
• Social Media

Practice Ice

• Full-time members: Book up to 3 days in advance at no charge
• Spares: $15/person per hour

Special Events

Throughout the season, we host fun social events to connect with fellow curlers off the ice. These gatherings are a great way to build friendships while enjoying the spirit of the game.
