Celebrating our 105th year of operations 1919 to 23/24 Season
Welcome to our Club! This page tells you all about our “Club” and encourages you to join us for an outstanding season of curling, social events and good times!
Our curling schedule and format:
- Days: Monday afternoon and occasional morning draws &/or Wednesday afternoons
- Game Times: Monday at 10:30 AM & 1:00 PM (dependent on how many teams register) and Wednesday at 1:00 PM
- Length of Games: 8 ends or buzzer, whichever occurs first
- Number of regular games: Between 18 – 21 games
- Format: Teams are divided into A & B divisions
- Season: Beginning of October to mid-March (Depends on number of teams)
- No Curling: Most long weekend Mondays, Christmas break, Interclub, and St. Nick’s daytime bonspiels
- Awards: Cash prizes based on final standings:
- Mondays 1st to 5th Place “A” & “B”
- Wednesdays 1st to 4th Place “A” & “B”
Curling Fees for the 2023 – 2024 Season:
- Full Time Curlers:
- Monday (18 Games): $852.00/team
- Wednesday (21 Games): $994.00/team
- Spares:
- $25.00/person for 1 or 2 days
- Curlers from a full-time team that only curls on one day are permitted to spare on the other day at no additional cost.
- Social Members: (usually retired curlers): No Charge
Important Dates:
- Intent to Return for the 2023 – 2024 Season: July 1, 2023 (Must have 2 returning players)
- Team Registration & Payment: August 1 – 31, 2023 (Must have 3 players)
- Spare Registration & Payment: September 1, 2023 – Ongoing

Practice Ice:
All full-time registered curlers of the CLCC may book practice ice up to 3 days in advance at no charge. Spares can book practice ice for $15.00/person per hour.
More fun with our Special Events:
Curling is very hard work but we have many special events that ease the pain of sweeping and shooting,
- Banquets: 3/year (Fall, Christmas, Awards) held in the early evening. Tickets are purchased in advance and include a full course meal, donation prizes, cash bar and more!
- Annual Turkey Shoot: held after curling with the Christmas Banquet to follow
- Spring Awards Banquet: presentation of cash awards, “B” Championship and Club Championship awards
- Golf Day & Luncheon: held in May or June
